Who is the King of glory?

Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.1 John 2:23 Jesus Father confession

This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God. But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here.1 John 4:2-3 Spirit Jesus

Addiction

You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. And even though “I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything.
1 Corinthians 6:12

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
1 Corinthians 10:13

Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!

Ascension

Baptism

Church

Confession

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.

People who conceal their sins will not prosper,
but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you

When you become aware of your guilt in any of these ways, you must confess your sin.

Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.”

For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.

Covenant

Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.

I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth.
Genesis 9:13

Crucifixion

The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.
